Baseline replacement interval
The HAF-QIN/EXP record lists a 6-month service interval and a rated capacity of 300 gallons. Replace at whichever limit the manufacturer specifies first.
Replace sooner when needed
Earlier replacement can be appropriate when flow falls noticeably, taste or odor changes, the refrigerator has been unused for an extended period, or the indicator reaches its replacement state.
Do not reset early
Resetting the light does not restore filter capacity. Record the installation date and keep the old SKU until the new cartridge is confirmed to fit without force or leakage.
Fit reminder
Samsung lists RF22R7351 models as fitting HAF-QIN. Confirm the complete model suffix before purchase.
