Before removing the old cartridge
Photograph the appliance label and current filter code. Compare both with the linked compatibility record. Do not rely on cartridge color or shape alone.
Replacement sequence
Slide the new filter into the housing and push until it locks into place; consult the Use & Care Guide.
Keep a towel below the housing, remove protective caps, and avoid forcing the cartridge. If it does not seat normally, stop and compare the old and new codes again.
After installation
Flush the dispenser according to the refrigerator manual, inspect the housing for leaks, discard the first batches of ice when instructed, and reset the filter indicator only after water flow is stable.
